Bromley & South East London JKA Karate Club Safeguarding Policy
Bromley & South East London JKA Karate Club acknowledges the duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of every club member and is committed to ensuring that safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice and Japanese Karate Association England requirements.
The policy recognises that the welfare and interests of children, vulnerable adults and all club members are paramount in all circumstances.
It aims to ensure that all members, regardless of age, gender, race, background, religious belief or sexual orientation, be able to train and learn karate in a safe environment.
In the event of an incident, or if any concern of abuse is raised, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the JKA England safeguarding policy which is published on JKA England website: www.jka-england.org
